TechteamGB, an influencer/Youtuber from the UK, recently published a review of the AOC CQ27G2U. The monitor received 5/5 stars and their “TOP TIER” award. The tester titled his written review and the video review with: "The Best Cheap 1440p 144hz Gaming Monitor".
„Gaming on it was great, it felt smooth and responsive, while of course retaining the great crispness that 1440p monitors have. I actually really enjoyed my time with it, and considering it’s price I really can’t recommend it enough. […] This is an amazing monitor. It gives a great gaming experience, with good colours and an honestly pretty insane price. While I’m not a massive fan of curved monitors – and they do have a non-curved variant if you’d prefer that by the way – the value for money this offers, and even forgetting the price just straight up a brilliant experience, means I can do nothing but recommend this to literally anyone who wants a new PC gaming monitor. It really wasn’t that long ago that 1080p 144hz monitors cost this much, so I really am blown away. “
