5/5 stars and "a massive thumbs up!" for the CU34G2X @ TechteamGB
TechteamGB, an influencer/Youtuber from the UK, recently published a review of the AOC CU34G2X on his channel and a written review on his blog. The monitor received 5/5 stars.
The tester introduced the CU34G2X with the following appraisal of the G2 Series, in particular 24G2U and CQ27G2U: “AOC is on a serious roll with their G2 line of monitors – first the 24G2U, an amazing 1080p 144 Hz IPS display with just unbelievable price tag with it. Then, their CQ27G2U, a 1440p 144 Hz VA monitor with again, an incredible price tag and now there's this: CU34G2X, a 1440p 144 Hz Ultrawide VA monitor with again, just ludicrous price tag to go with it: This is not one you want to miss."
Actually playing games on it felt incredibly smooth and responsive along with being very nice and crisp. Not only is it great for the FPS games, also very well suited for a number of other genres, RTS – with large screen real estate, and racing - a very immersive experience. […] I saved the best for last. It’s currently on pre-order for just £450. Yeah. That’s insane. It really wasn’t long ago that even AOC’s own 1440p ultrawides were £800+, so to have a full 1440p 144hz ultrawide, AND great colours on top of that, this is really a dream come true. This was a phenomenal gaming experience, it’s versatile, and costs so little for what you get, so big thumbs up from me.
