About MMD
MMD is a wholly owned company of TPV established in 2009 through a brand license agreement with Philips. MMD exclusively markets and sells Philipsbranded LCD displays worldwide. By combining the Philips brand promise with TPV’s manufacturing expertise in displays, MMD uses a fast and focused approach to bringing innovative products to market. MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI). Through its network of local sales teams MMD works with all major IT distributors and resellers. The company’s design and development center is located in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Performance & Security Oversight
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance on Azure and AWS.
- Ensure security best practices across cloud environments by assessing vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
- Provide technical guidance on future-proof security and DevOps strategies.
Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) Management
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines to ensure streamlined, secure, and efficient deployment processes.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize workflows and automation.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for scalability, reliability, and security in deployment strategies.
Technical Consultancy & Vendor Oversight
- Act as a technical consultant, providing guidance and review on external agency work.
- Assess third-party solutions and ensure their alignment with business needs.
- Maintain best practices in system integration, security, and performance.
Back-End Development & Integration
- Design and maintain back-end logic, databases, and server configurations.
- Integrate CMS platforms with PIM systems, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless content delivery across channels.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), with an emphasis on performance optimization and security.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
Soft Skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with agencies and internal teams.
- Ability to translate technical challenges into actionable business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reviewing and guiding outsourced development teams.
- Certifications in cloud computing, security, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer).
