About MMD
MMD is a wholly owned company of TPV established in 2009 through a brand license agreement with Philips. MMD exclusively markets and sells Philipsbranded LCD displays worldwide. By combining the Philips brand promise with TPV’s manufacturing expertise in displays, MMD uses a fast and focused approach to bringing innovative products to market. MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI). Through its network of local sales teams MMD works with all major IT distributors and resellers. The company’s design and development center is located in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
CMS Development & Maintenance
- Develop, customize, and maintain CMS platforms using modern technologies.
- Build custom themes, plugins, and modules to enhance CMS functionality.
- Transition CMS operations from external agencies to in-house management.
Back-End Development & Integration
- Design and maintain back-end logic, databases, and server configurations.
- Integrate CMS platforms with PIM systems, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless content delivery across channels.
Front-End Development
- Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks.
- Implement headless CMS solutions with front-end frameworks.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical consultancy for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Advise on CMS scalability, workflow automation, and content architecture.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
DevOps & Security
- Configure CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment.
- Ensure CMS platform security through vulnerability assessments.
- Optimize hosting solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Sanity.
- Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Soft Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience transitioning CMS platforms from agency-built solutions to in-house systems.
- Expertise in headless CMS implementations.
- Certifications in web development, DevOps, or cloud technologies.
