AOC supports Dota Major in Disneyland
The Mars Dota 2 League (MDL) has been a staple in the esports scene for years, and its first iteration outside of China is coming to a very special place: Disneyland Paris! From May 4 till 12, the MDL will bring the popular MOBA game to the merriest place in Europe and enchant its viewers with world class esports action.

The super-event is going to be one of the most entertaining and prestigious esports tournaments of the year: 16 renown top-teams are going to battle it out for the $1,000,000 prize pool. Besides Dota 2 legends such as Team Liquid, OG, or Evil Geniuses, also the home side of PSG.LDG will take part.
The event kicks off with an exciting group. In each group, four teams will engage in best-of-three series to determine the two top and the two bottom teams, that either advance to the upper or lower bracket in the playoffs.
In the lower bracket, the eight lower teams have to fight for their tournament lives in a dramatic best-of-one, while the teams in the upper bracket take on the other group winners in a best-of-three. After that, all matches, regardless of upper or lower bracket, are best-of-threes, except for the grand finals, which will be played as an epic best-of-five series.
Apart from the impressive prize pool, the teams earn points for the Dota Pro Circuit based on their performance. Those points are required to qualify for The International 2019 in August, the world championship of Dota 2. In the past, the TI events repeatedly set records in regards to prize money in esports, making them the most lucrative and arguably most prestigious tournaments in professional gaming.
